Unauthenticated database manipulation via raw id parameter
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Hospital's Patient Records Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via the id field. The save_patient handler in /classes/Master.php places the multipart POST id value directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login is required; a demonstrated boolean-based blind payload can read or modify patient-record data within the database account's permissions.
