CVE-2026-11479Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-project index poisoning via non-namespaced chunk IDs

Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026

Weak chunk identity generation in the Qdrant Backend in Yoan Bernabeu grepai 0.35.0 allows remote authenticated users to poison index data. indexer/chunker.go forms chunk IDs from only the relative path and chunk number; the Qdrant store converts each value to a deterministic UUID and upserts it. Exploitation requires untrusted projects to share one Qdrant collection, where a colliding path and chunk number replace another project's vector and payload and corrupt search and readback results.
