Stored script execution via malicious SVG attachment
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Alltena GmbH Allegra before 9.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user’s session. A low-privileged user can upload a malicious SVG attachment, and downloadAttachment serves it so the browser executes embedded script in the application origin. Another user must download the attachment; the script then runs with that user’s Allegra session and can access session cookies, including an administrator’s.
