Unauthenticated code execution via unvalidated upload paths
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Path traversal in Altium Enterprise Server before 8.1.1 and Altium 365 allows remote attackers to execute code via file upload. Two Vault Service ScriptsController endpoints construct destination paths from an upload filename without validation and write the file before checking authentication. No credentials, session, or user interaction is required, and attacker-controlled content executes under the Vault Service account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
