Code injection in Amazon Web Services AgentCore CLI 0.4.0 through 0.14.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary Python code. The Bedrock Agent import translator inserts collaborationInstruction into a triple-quoted docstring in generated main.py while escaping only single quotes, allowing three double quotes to terminate the docstring and inject statements. Preview versions 0.3.0-preview.7.0 through 1.0.0-preview.8 are also affected; exploitation requires same-account bedrock:AssociateAgentCollaborator permission and another user to import and run or deploy the agent, exposing local credentials or the runtime IAM role.
