Authenticated router crash via unchecked strcpy
Published Jan 19, 2026 · Updated Jan 19, 2026
Buffer overflow in Shanghai Aitai 进取 520W 1.7.7-180627 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted HTTP request. At /goform/ConfigExceptMSN, an overlong remark parameter reaches strcpy((char *)(v8 + 46), src_3) without a destination-length check and overwrites adjacent memory. An authenticated management session is the access gate, and the demonstrated consequence is service interruption rather than proven code execution.
