Authenticated comment disclosure and modification via unchecked identifier
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Authorization bypass in the Comment API in linqi before 1.4.8.6 allows remote authenticated users to read and write other processes' comments. The GET and POST /api/Comment paths pass a caller-supplied relatedObjectId to the database without validating ownership or access rights. Any authenticated account can supply an arbitrary object GUID to cross business-unit boundaries; the reported impact is limited to comment disclosure and modification.
