CVE-2026-11311Network attack vector

Arbitrary directive injection via unsanitized CRD fields

Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026

Configuration injection in F5 NGINX Gateway Fabric 2.5.0 through 2.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter NGINX behavior. The configuration generator renders NginxProxy serverTokens and AuthenticationFilter extraAuthArgs strings into NGINX templates without sanitization or escaping. Exploitation requires permission to modify those CRDs and an NGINX Plus data plane, enabling arbitrary directives from the control plane.
