Sandbox escape via Input use-after-free
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Use-after-free in Input in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Google has not disclosed the affected Input code path or the lifetime error that leaves the freed object reachable. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the flaw crosses the renderer sandbox boundary; further host impact is not publicly specified.
