Origin validation error in Media Session in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy. Google has not disclosed which Media Session operation incorrectly accepts or associates cross-origin data; the linked Chromium issue is restricted. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted HTML page, enabling unauthorized cross-origin access with bounded effects on browser data and operations.
