Site isolation bypass
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Inappropriate implementation in ORB in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to bypass site isolation via crafted HTML. Google identifies Opaque Response Blocking as the affected locus, but the restricted issue leaves the incorrect operation undisclosed. A user must load the crafted page, after which the browser's cross-origin security boundary no longer reliably separates site data.
