Sandbox escape via Messages use-after-free
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Use after free in Messages in Google Chrome on Android before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. The restricted Chromium issue leaves the affected Messages object and the sequence that reuses it after deallocation undisclosed. Opening attacker-controlled HTML is required; successful exploitation crosses the renderer sandbox boundary, but no public source establishes code execution outside it.
