Sandbox escape via unvalidated Chromoting extension input

Improper input validation in Chromoting in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 on Linux allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox. Chromoting insufficiently validates untrusted input supplied by a crafted Chrome Extension, but Google has not disclosed the affected function or rejected validation rule. Exploitation requires prior compromise of a renderer process and can cross the Linux sandbox boundary, exposing the browser process and host resources.
