Improper privilege management in Google Chrome on Android before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escalate privileges via HTML. NfcImpl omits returns when NFC operations are suspended, so push and makeReadOnly continue against a physical tag after the tab is hidden. Exploitation requires opening a crafted page and bringing a physical NFC tag into range; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized tag modification.
