Sandboxed code execution
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Improper input validation in Dawn in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to execute code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. Public records do not identify the affected Dawn code path or the validation operation mishandling attacker-controlled page input. Exploitation requires user interaction with a crafted page and a previously compromised renderer process; the reported consequence remains code execution inside the browser sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
