Cross-origin credential disclosure via stale origin caching
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Cross-origin data exposure in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to read credentials through a crafted HTML page. ActorLoginDelegateImpl caches the initial main-frame origin, fails to abort on navigation, and refetches eligible forms after biometric reauthentication against the new page. Exploitation requires a saved credential, biometric reauthentication, user interaction, and navigation to an attacker-controlled origin sharing the same registrable domain; it exposes cleartext credentials without modification or interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
