Authenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Jan 18, 2026 · Updated Jan 18, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in EyouCMS 1.7.0, 1.7.1, and 5.0 allows remote authenticated users to upload files via viewfile. The Member Avatar Handler's check_userinfo function in Diyajax.php accepts a manipulated viewfile request-body value for the upload operation. Placement of a server-executable file can lead to code execution through file inclusion, although published sources do not identify the accepted file types or destination.
