Authenticated consent deletion via unchecked userId
Published Jan 18, 2026 · Updated Jan 18, 2026
Improper authorization in Chamilo LMS 2.0.0 Beta 1 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' legal consent records. The deleteLegal function in src/CoreBundle/Controller/SocialController.php uses a userId from the JSON request body to delete matching legal_accept data without ownership or administrator authorization. A standard logged-in account is sufficient; the operation changes or removes another user's consent state but does not expose record contents.
