Sandbox escape via ANGLE out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escape the macOS renderer sandbox. Google identifies ANGLE as the affected locus, but the restricted Chromium issue leaves the exact write operation and untrusted field undisclosed. Exploitation requires a compromised renderer and a crafted HTML page, and the bounded consequence is escape from Chrome's renderer sandbox on macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
