Authenticated site-backup disclosure via unchecked REST routes
Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Ninja Team FastDup 2.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create and download site backups. REST routes registered in includes/Endpoint/PackageApi.php accept backup creation and download requests without a capability check. Contributor-level access is sufficient to obtain archives containing site files, database exports, and configuration data.
