CVE-2026-11014Network attack vector

Site isolation bypass via malicious extension

Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026

Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome Extensions before 149.0.7827.53 allows attackers to bypass site isolation. Google identifies the Extensions component and a crafted Chrome extension, but the restricted bug record does not disclose which policy check fails or how site isolation is bypassed. Exploitation requires convincing a user to install the malicious extension; the published impact is an integrity loss rather than data disclosure or service interruption.
