Site-isolation bypass via Password Manager policy failure
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Site-isolation bypass in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers with renderer compromise to cross security boundaries. The Password Manager fails to enforce an undisclosed policy when processing a crafted HTML page, permitting the compromised renderer to bypass site isolation. Exploitation requires user interaction with the page and prior renderer compromise; the published assessment bounds impact to confidentiality and integrity, not availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
