Privilege escalation via spoofed extension source URL

Input validation in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers with a compromised renderer to escalate privileges. The OpenChannelToExtension path trusted a spoofed ExternalConnectionInfo source URL from a manifest-sandboxed extension frame, letting it impersonate a privileged extension context. Exploitation requires a prior renderer compromise and crafted HTML; successful use opens privileged messaging to the extension background context.
