Sandboxed code execution via DevTools integer overflow
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Integer overflow in DevTools in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the locus only as DevTools and keeps the linked Chromium issue restricted, so the overflowing calculation and affected data path are not public. A user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code within Chrome's sandbox, with no published sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
