Arbitrary code execution via use-after-free
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome for iOS before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted HTML. Google identifies the locus only as Chrome for iOS; the restricted issue leaves the freed object's lifetime error and triggering sequence undisclosed. Exploitation requires a user to open the page and perform specific UI gestures, after which attacker-controlled code executes on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
