Sandbox escape via FullScreen use after free
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Use after free in FullScreen in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escape the renderer sandbox on Windows. Google has not published which FullScreen object is freed, which later operation accesses it, or the lifetime transition triggered by crafted HTML. Exploitation requires a crafted page, user interaction, and prior compromise of Chrome's renderer process; the resulting escape crosses the renderer sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
