Code execution via Ozone use after free
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Use after free in Ozone in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page. Google has not published the affected Ozone object, lifetime transition, or stale-reference operation because the linked issue remains access-restricted. A user must open the crafted page; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code in the browser process, while sandbox escape is not established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
