Sandbox escape via GPU out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in the GPU component of Google Chrome for Android before 149.0.7827.53 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox. The GPU component writes beyond a memory buffer while processing crafted HTML; the restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the affected function or field. User interaction is required to load the page, after which the write crosses the browser sandbox and compromises the device context.
