Heap corruption via undersized preparse buffer

Out-of-bounds write in Perl DBI before 1.648 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via SQL with more than nine binders. The DBI.xs preparse method expands each question-mark placeholder to a numbered :pN binder but sizes its destination buffer for only three output bytes per input byte. Reachability depends on a consuming Perl application passing attacker-controlled SQL through preparse; the hosting process suffers memory corruption, while the exact process-level outcome is not published.
