CVE-2026-10878Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized SMS parameter

Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026

Command injection in D-Link DWR-M920 1.1.50 and 1.1.70 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands through the SMS interface. The formSmsManage handlers format action_value with sprintf without a length check, then pass the resulting buffer directly to system() without neutralizing command metacharacters. A valid web-management session is required; injected commands run with the web service's privileges, while an overlong value can instead crash the service.
