CVE-2026-10831Network attack vector

Serial link interruption via unauthorized break signals

Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026

Missing authorization in Moxa NPort 6000 Series 2.3 and earlier and CN2600 Series 4.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt serial links. The command port accepts break signal commands without verifying that the sender belongs to the valid data-port session. Network access is sufficient; crafted requests disrupt an active user's serial communication without granting broader device control.
