Unauthenticated account takeover via duplicate registration
Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Jul 6, 2026
Improper privilege management in ThemeGrill AllCoach before 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to take over arbitrary WordPress accounts. The public registration endpoint accepts an existing user's email address and replaces that account's password instead of rejecting the duplicate registration. Knowing or guessing a target email address is sufficient; the account retains its original role, so an administrator target yields full site administration.
