CVE-2026-10829Network attack vector

Root code execution via Server location overflow

Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Moxa NPort W2150A/W2250A devices allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. The web service accepts an overlong Server location value from the Basic settings page without enforcing stack-buffer bounds, corrupting memory. Administrative web-console access is required; affected firmware is 1.5 and earlier on W4 models and 2.3 and earlier on legacy models.
