Unauthenticated post disclosure via unrestricted REST query
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in YMC Filter before 3.11.3 allows remote attackers to read non-public WordPress posts through its REST API. The public /wp-json/ymc/v1/posts/filter endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled post_status value and returns rendered titles and content without restricting the requested status to public posts. The plugin must be active with at least one administrator-published filter; no authentication or user interaction is required.
