Authenticated code execution via disjunctive upload validation
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in mjperpinosa stumasy allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through a crafted post attachment. The add_post.php handler accepts an upload when either its claimed MIME type or filename extension is allowlisted, then stores the original filename in a web-accessible directory. A valid session and a server configured to execute PHP from documents/files are required; a forged PDF MIME type on a .php file yields code execution.
