Subscriber-level listing defacement via unchecked ownership
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Missing authorization in RadiusTheme Classified Listing 5.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter arbitrary listing images. The gallery_image_update_as_feature AJAX handler trusts user-supplied listing and attachment IDs after checking only a frontend nonce, without verifying capability or listing ownership. Subscriber-level access and the exposed submission-form nonce are sufficient to replace another owner's featured image, enabling content defacement.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
