Traffic interception and alteration via plaintext HTTP
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Insecure HTTP use in Hitachi Energy PROMOD V 1.0.0 through 1.0.10 allows attackers to intercept or alter Digipede traffic. PROMOD V sends data to the third-party Digipede server over plaintext HTTP because that server lacks HTTPS support, leaving the channel without transport encryption. Attackers must reach the communication path; exposure is limited to transmitted data and limited modification of that traffic.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
