CSS settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Star Review Manager 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin CSS settings. The settings handler in admin/settings.php accepts a settings-page request and writes CSS configuration without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow a crafted link or perform an equivalent attacker-induced action, and the reported consequence is limited to CSS-setting modification.
