Subscriber-level content compromise via missing capability checks

Missing authorization in Royal MCP before 1.4.26 allows remote authenticated users to read private data and alter other users' content. After accepting an OAuth token, most MCP tool handlers invoke WordPress read and write operations without checking the caller's required capabilities. Exploitation requires the normally disabled MCP integration to be enabled and a low-privileged account such as Subscriber; it exposes user roles and permits creation, modification, or deletion of site content.
