CVE-2026-10703Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service crash via stale stack payload pointer

Published Jun 3, 2026 · Updated Jun 3, 2026

Use after free in OpENer 2.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to crash the service via a crafted SendRRData request. The CPF parser retains a raw pointer into HandleDataOnTcpSocket's stack-backed receive buffer, and CreateMessageRouterRequestStructure dereferences it after that frame returns. Exploitation requires network access to TCP port 44818 and an EtherNet/IP session; the demonstrated consequence is process termination and service interruption.
