Authenticated service hang via unvalidated search regex

Regular expression denial of service in Desktop Commander MCP 0.2.0 through 0.2.38 allows remote authenticated users to hang the MCP server. The Excel and DOCX content-search paths pass the pattern argument directly to JavaScript RegExp, so nested quantifiers cause exponential backtracking on crafted document text. Exploitation requires an authenticated MCP client or an agent induced to call start_search against Excel or DOCX content; the blocked Node.js event loop makes every server tool unresponsive.
