SSRF in read_file in wonderwhy-er Desktop Commander MCP 0.2.37 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP resources. When isUrl is true, readFileFromUrl passes the unvalidated path directly to fetch and returns the full response body to the MCP client. Exploitation requires influencing an integrated AI agent or authenticated MCP client to invoke read_file; reachable internal services and metadata can be disclosed.
