Authenticated file disclosure via unrestricted image path
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Arbitrary file read in Siddharth Ahuja Blender MCP allows remote authenticated users to read local files via a crafted image path. The generate_hunyuan3d_model tool forwards input_image_url to the Blender add-on, which treats non-HTTP values as paths, opens them without restriction, Base64-encodes the contents, and posts them to the configured Hunyuan3D endpoint. Access to an MCP client that can invoke the tool is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the Blender process.
