CVE-2026-10641Public exploit

Bluetooth host crash via unchecked CIND index

Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in Zephyr RTOS 1.7.0 through 4.4.0 allows physically proximate attackers to crash the Bluetooth host via an HFP response. cind_handle_values() writes a recognized indicator ID to the 20-entry ind_table using an index that cind_handle() increments without limiting the number of +CIND tuples. Exposure requires CONFIG_BT_HFP_HF and a connection to a malicious, compromised, or spoofed Bluetooth Audio Gateway; the bounded demonstrated consequence is memory corruption and service interruption.
