Managed-host command execution via unescaped authorized_keys path
Published Jan 17, 2026 · Updated Jan 17, 2026
Command injection in Bastillion 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands on managed systems. SystemKtrl accepts an authorized_keys path from /manage/saveSystem, and SSHUtil concatenates the stored value into cat, echo, and chmod commands without shell escaping. System creation or edit privileges and a key-distribution trigger are required; injected commands run on each affected managed host.
