Missing authorization in Marcus Sykes Events Manager 7.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read non-public records via search filters. Event and location query construction accepts caller-controlled status, private, and private_only filters without enforcing the corresponding read-private capabilities. No authentication is required; successful requests disclose titles, dates, descriptions, and location details for draft, pending, trashed, or private records.
