Unauthenticated admin access via fail-open token check
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Authentication bypass in Next Level Builders GoClaw 3.11.0 through 3.11.3 allows remote attackers to invoke privileged HTTP APIs. The resolveAuth function in internal/http/auth.go treats an empty GOCLAW_GATEWAY_TOKEN as authenticated RoleAdmin access instead of rejecting requests without credentials. Exploitation requires a network-reachable HTTP listener with the gateway token unset and grants access to enabled operator or administrative actions, including tool invocation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
