Missing authentication in Lenovo laptop BIOS firmware allows local privileged attackers to trigger an SMI handler through WMI commands. The WMI-accessible firmware path accepts the command without an authentication check and dispatches the System Management Interrupt handler; Lenovo has not identified the handler or command schema.
