CVE-2026-10586Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal-service access via unrestricted image fetch

Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026

SSRF in WPDeveloper Essential Blocks for Gutenberg 6.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The save_ai_generated_image() AJAX handler passes an attacker-controlled image_url to wp_remote_get() without restricting private or loopback destinations, then stores the response body in the Media Library. Author-level upload_files permission and a valid admin nonce are required; successful requests disclose internal responses and can trigger state-changing GET endpoints.
