Administrator access via unrestricted registration fields
Published Aug 29, 2026 · Updated Aug 29, 2026
Improper privilege management in N-Media MemberHero 6.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to create Administrator accounts. The frontend registration handler accepts unrestricted account fields and passes attacker-supplied role data into new-account creation. Public registration is sufficient for unauthenticated role injection, granting full WordPress administrative control and enabling takeover of existing accounts.
